I checked the homepage, Terms, Privacy Policy, and Ethics Statement on August 26, 2026. I did not paste text, upload a file, run the Humanizer or Detector, create an account, or accept the Terms. The scope is limited to the anonymous interface and linked rules; output quality remains untested.

This distinction matters for a review. A hidden error template describes something the product can display. A visible error describes what the user encountered at that moment. Treating the first as the second would turn a useful observation into a false outage report.

The capacity sentence exists, but it was not active during this check.

The Terms page checked on August 26 displayed version 2.0 with an effective date of September 15, 2026. That date was still in the future. The table below therefore describes the version the site had published, not proof of which contract governed an August 26 request.

`Free` answers a price question. It does not remove the 3,000-word request ceiling, promise uninterrupted processing, or make the current price permanent. The announced Terms already contain subscription, renewal, cancellation, tax, and refund sections for a possible paid launch.

For planning, use the current tool on a non-sensitive sample and keep a fallback for deadlines. Do not budget a future project around a permanent $0 assumption unless the site still says so when the work begins.

Free access and guaranteed capacity are different benefits.

The homepage offered both a paste area and an `Upload file` control. Its file picker accepted `.pdf`, `.doc`, `.docx`, `.txt`, and `.md`, while the editor counted each request against a 3,000-word ceiling.

Because no upload was attempted, parsing behavior, layout retention, and downloadable file output remain untested. Calling the checked interface paste-only would also be wrong: the file picker was present.

The Privacy Policy was also version 2.0 with a future effective date of September 15, 2026. The announced version says:
