BypassGPT Review: Free Limits, Pricing, API, and Refunds

BypassGPT is a text-first AI humanizer with a free plan, paid web plans, and a separately billed API. Its public pages conflict on the free allowance and the API's 50,000-word annual price. Treat the upload control as intake only until you verify the downloaded format in your own account.

The research stayed signed out. On August 26, 2026, I visited BypassGPT's humanizer, pricing, API, refund, Terms, contact, and privacy pages. No text or file was submitted, and I did not trigger its tools, checkout, or payment flow.

The first buying question is simple: which number will the signed-in counter enforce?

BypassGPT's public pages give two different answers. The AI Humanizer FAQ says its free version includes 300 words. The pricing page shows 150 words per month on the Free plan and an 80-word per-request cap.

The site may apply those figures to different moments or account states, but the checked pages do not say that. Adding them together or choosing the larger number would invent a rule. Open the signed-in counter before planning even a small free job.

A free allowance needs both an amount and a reset period. Here, the pages disagree on the amount, and the FAQ does not state a reset period.

The pricing page displayed a timed sale when checked. Switching between Monthly and Yearly changed the current prices while leaving the plan allowances and per-request caps visible.

These are sale prices shown on August 26, not permanent list prices. The annual cards displayed a monthly equivalent but did not print the total annual charge in the visible card text. Confirm the checkout amount and renewal price before paying.

The ordering also deserves a pause. In the checked sale, Unlimited cost more than Pro while promising no word cap. That does not tell you which modes, support level, or later renewal price will matter in your account.

Compare the allowance, request cap, billing cadence, and checkout total on the same screen.

No. The API page says its pricing is separate from normal subscriptions. It offers 250 free API words, then uses its own word balance and input cap.

The $25.50 card and $19 FAQ statement appeared on the same page. This review does not decide which one checkout will use. If an integration budget depends on the difference, verify the payable total before writing code around the service.

Web credits and API words are separate balances until the vendor says otherwise in the account you will use.

The public humanizer displayed an Upload File control. That proves the page offers an upload entry point. Without a completed file selection, accepted types, size limits, and download availability remain untested.

The checked public pages also did not promise an editable download with the original extension or retained layout. That is a page-scoped finding, not a claim that an account-only export cannot exist.

Before using a formatted file, try a disposable sample with a heading, footnote, citation, numbered list, and table. Record the input extension, downloaded extension, editability, and whether elements outside the intended rewrite changed.

An upload control is evidence of intake. It is not evidence of a complete document round trip.

BypassGPT's refund policy and Terms tie the refund window to both time and usage. A request must be made within three calendar days of purchase, and usage over 1,000 words makes the purchase ineligible.

Subscriptions renew automatically. The refund page says to contact `support@bypassgpt.ai` in advance with sufficient notice, but it gives no number of hours or days. The Terms say cancellation is available in account settings before the next billing date and access remains active through the current paid term.

Do not rely on the short `3-day money-back guarantee` label by itself. The usage condition can close that window earlier, and the two documents present different cancellation paths.

If renewal timing matters, cancel before the billing date and keep the confirmation.

The sales pages make strong claims about detector outcomes and name several detectors. None of those claims was tested here. No BypassGPT output was submitted to Turnitin, and this article does not predict a score.

It also does not establish rewrite quality, factual retention, citation handling, file acceptance, export behavior, account-only limits, or support response time. Those questions need a representative input and a saved result.

Before submitting work, check the applicable policy on authorship, disclosure, and AI assistance. Using a humanizer does not waive those requirements.

Vendor claims belong in one column. Observed results belong in another.

The public contract is easiest to evaluate for paste-text work whose length fits a known per-request cap.
