Why a long document is a different problem
The hard part of a long document is not the word count. It is consistency and structure.
Chunking by hand costs you three things. Terminology drifts: the same concept gets rewritten one way in chapter two and another way in chapter five, because separate requests share no context. References break: "as discussed above" and "the method from the previous section" can end up pointing at nothing after piecemeal rewriting. And structure degrades - the table of contents, figure numbers, and cross-references slip as you paste, which is exactly what a reviewer notices first.

No page limit. The practical ceiling is document size - 100 MB per file, around 200k tokens, typically well over a hundred thousand words of body text. Standard master’s and doctoral theses sit comfortably inside that.
How long does tens of thousands of words take?
Slices run in parallel rather than queueing linearly, so a several-tens-of-thousands-word thesis usually finishes within tens of minutes. You can close the tab and collect the result from History.
Will the table of contents, figure numbers, or cross-references break?
No. Those are Word fields and structural objects; they never enter the text rewrite, so numbering and positions stay put. Refresh the fields in Word afterwards as usual.
I only want two chapters rewritten, not the whole thing.
You can scope it - paste the target passages into "specify content", or import a Turnitin report to process only the flagged ones. You are billed only for words actually rewritten, so two chapters costs two chapters.
Does the reference list get rewritten?
No, reference entries are protected during the rewrite. If what you actually need is a consistent reference format such as APA 7, MLA 9, or GB/T 7714, that is a different tool - citation format correction. Do not use humanizing to do that job.
Can it handle a Chinese-language thesis?
