Course essays come with hard formatting requirements: double spacing, a specific font and size, your student number and course code in the header, hanging indents on the references page, sometimes a cover sheet. These are not optional; wrong formatting loses marks on its own.

Yes. Those are document formatting properties and never enter the text rewrite. The DOCX you download has exactly the layout you uploaded - only the body wording changes.

No. In-text citations and reference entries are protected during the rewrite, so formatting holds and the link between citations and the reference list stays intact.
Can I rewrite only certain paragraphs?
Yes. Use "specify content" to scope it; everything else is frozen and not billed. If you have a Turnitin report, importing it locates the flagged passages automatically.
Will it change my argument?
No. The rewrite is meaning-first: your claims, evidence, and cited figures stay as they are; only the phrasing is rebuilt. Read it through afterwards - we recommend that, because no tool can take responsibility for your content.
