Ryne AI Review: Is Its AI Report a Turnitin Report?

Ryne offers an AI Humanizer and an AI Report, but the checked public pages do not establish that its report is an actual Turnitin report. The homepage markets "Turnitin-Equivalent Scoring." Ryne's Terms say its reports are generated with AI detection tools and that parts may rely on predictions formed through its proprietary method.

I checked Ryne's homepage, Humanizer page, Terms, Privacy Policy, and Changelog on August 26, 2026. I did not enter text, run a Humanizer or detector, upload a report, create an account, open checkout, accept terms, or pay.

HumanPen publishes this review and has a commercial interest in the document workflow described later. Ryne's matching-score language, 99.9% figure, examples, testimonials, and bypass claims remain vendor statements because no shared detector test was performed.

Treat the AI Report as Ryne-generated unless you can trace the artifact to an actual institution or Turnitin workflow.

The public evidence supports a Ryne-generated report. It does not show that a university, a Turnitin account, or Turnitin itself issued the artifact.

Across the homepage, Humanizer, Terms, Privacy Policy, and Changelog, exact searches for `Turnitin API`, `Turnitin account`, `Turnitin access`, `licensed by Turnitin`, `affiliated with Turnitin`, and `actual Turnitin report` each returned zero. The positive-control word `Ryne` appeared on all five pages, so the rendered-text check was live.

That is a disclosure finding, not a backend audit. A private contract or later integration could exist without appearing in those pages. For a report claimed to be an actual Turnitin artifact, ask for traceable provenance such as the issuing institution, submission context, and identifiers that belong to the real workflow.

Similarity to a Turnitin score is a performance claim. Report provenance answers a different question: who generated this artifact?

Ryne's public pages combine a Humanizer, AI Reports, rewrite modes, and an API score. These features sit in one product, but their labels do not all describe the same detector or limit.

The August 24 Changelog says Aggressive currently supports English input up to 4,000 words per request, while Balanced covers every supported language. That mode-level statement needs to be read alongside the lower per-use caps printed on several plan cards.

A feature label tells you what Ryne offers. It does not identify who issued a score.

The Monthly selector displayed four plans. Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby showed lower current prices beside higher struck-out values on August 26, 2026.

The Yearly selector showed per-month equivalents, annual billed totals, and larger displayed allowances.

The yearly cards do not say whether the displayed Coins or report allowance arrives upfront, resets monthly, or follows another schedule. Do not build a usage forecast from a reset rule the card never states. Confirm the payable total, renewal price, and allowance cadence in the live account before purchase.

These are page values observed on August 26, 2026, not permanent prices.

Ryne has at least four limit dimensions. A buyer needs all four because a large Coin balance does not override a per-use cap, and an Unlimited label does not remove fair-use controls.

The public pages checked here do not provide a full crosswalk between plan, editor, mode, language, and the 4,000-word request. The 4,000 figure should not silently replace Sapphire's 750-word cap or Emerald's 1,500-word cap.

Coins are another open unit. The cards publish balances, but this review did not establish one universal Coin-to-Humanizer-word conversion for every operation. A plan balance is not a document capacity until the charge and denominator are known.

Record the plan allowance, per-use cap, selected mode, and fair-use rule as separate fields.

Ryne's refund window is narrow and includes a fee. The live Terms require a request within three days and set both Coin and AI Report usage conditions.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Coins roll over while the subscription stays active, but the Terms say they expire if the subscription is not renewed. Cancelling a renewal and qualifying for a refund are separate questions.

If refund eligibility matters, save the purchase time, Coin counter, report count, cancellation confirmation, and support reply.

Ryne's Privacy Policy, updated August 13, 2026, says user data is not used to train AI models. Its general retention clause keeps data as needed for the policy's purposes or until a deletion request, with backups potentially retained for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons.

The rendered policy had zero matches for `AI Report`, `upload`, `report`, and `Turnitin`. The same extraction found the policy's training, retention, backup, rights, and contact text, so this is a limited finding about the checked policy rather than an empty-page result.

The policy separately says text selected through Ryne's browser extension is discarded immediately. That promise is specific to the extension and should not be transferred to a report uploaded on the website. The checked policy does not publish an AI Report upload retention schedule.

Before uploading an institutional report, ask how the file is processed, who can receive it, and when every copy is deleted.

Ryne is easiest to evaluate when the user wants a paste-text Humanizer or a vendor-generated preflight report and is comfortable checking the live limits first.

The product may fit an internal estimate. That is different from needing a report issued through Turnitin.

Use a non-sensitive sample that resembles the real task. The goal is to produce records you can inspect, not to spend the trial chasing a sales-page percentage.

1. Save the selected plan, billing cadence, payable total, renewal price, and purchase time.
2. Record the live Coin balance, AI Report allowance, Humanizer cap, language, and mode.
3. Ask whether the AI Report is generated by Ryne or issued through a Turnitin account and institution.
4. If an actual Turnitin artifact is promised, ask for traceable submission provenance rather than a familiar-looking layout.
5. Run only an authorized, non-sensitive sample and keep the original beside the output.
6. Check names, numbers, quotations, citations, negation, and meaning sentence by sentence.
7. Record Coins and reports used before the three-day refund window closes.
8. Ask for the website report-upload retention and deletion schedule in writing.

HumanPen does not run its own detector. Its public ethics page says it accepts the Turnitin or iThenticate report the user's institution issued, then uses that existing report to help define the passages the user can confirm for rewriting.

The document workflow accepts DOCX, PPTX, and TXT and returns the same format, with Word and PowerPoint files remaining editable. Users can choose passages manually or import a report, and only the rewritten words are billed. Everything outside the confirmed scope is left untouched.

If you already have an institutional report, work from that artifact instead of asking another vendor to predict it.

Ryne publishes more concrete purchase details than a page built only around bypass claims. The current cards show prices, Coin balances, per-use Humanizer limits, and AI Report counts. The Terms also give a precise, if restrictive, refund contract.

The report identity remains the first unresolved point. Ryne markets equivalence to Turnitin, while its Terms describe reports generated with detection tools and Ryne's proprietary predictions. The checked public pages do not disclose direct Turnitin access.

That does not prove Ryne's score is inaccurate, and it does not prove no private integration exists. It sets the right label for the evidence available today: a Ryne-generated report. Buy only if that artifact, the plan limits, refund terms, and report-upload privacy meet the job you actually have.

Settle who generated the report before debating how close its score might be.

Is a Ryne AI Report a real Turnitin report?

Is Ryne Unlimited really unlimited?

Different rows use Unlimited for Coins, AI Reports, or Humanization. The Terms still allow fair-use restrictions, and the Changelog publishes a separate 4,000-word Aggressive request limit. Read the exact row and surface you will use.

Can I get a refund from Ryne?

The Terms require a request within three days, no more than 500 Coins consumed, and no more than one AI Report used. A 30% processing fee applies, and renewals are non-refundable.
